This course is ideal for individuals or small business owners, who are responsible for the development or maintenance of a website. The course aim is to provide participants with the skills necessary to design and manage their websites in order to attract more customers, and increase sales in these challenging times.
****Windows skills are assumed, but no previous web skills are required.***

To provide participants with the skills to easily and confidently make changes to your website such as:
Updating text, product & service details, prices, contact details,
how to find your directions, other interesting information;
Adding pictures, maps, special offers.
Enable owners/managers to keep their website always up to date, promote their business cost effectively 365-24/7, maximise the potential to attract more interested customers and achieve more sales.

The content of this course includes:
How to search for, evaluate, and use information from the Internet;
Understand how websites are created and work
Create a webpage and maintain a website;
Integrate images into web pages;
Plan and design a complete website including content, page layouts, site map, user-friendly navigation and other useful features;
Demonstrate good web design techniques;
Search engine ranking and effective online marketing;
How to create/edit graphics for the web.

It can be expensive to pay for every change to your website. After this course, participants will confidently be able to make routine changes themselves quickly, reducing the need and costs of technical assistance.
